Mi decidis relegi la Hobiton post spekti la filmojn antaŭ kelkaj semajnoj. La filmoj ja estas tre malbonaj — tro longaj, kaj precipe faritaj por tiuj kiuj ĝuis la filmojn La Majstro de l' Ringoj sed neniam legis la librojn. Mi simple deziris alitipan filmon en la etoso de la libro.

Relegi ĝin en Esperanto antaŭ rememoris min pri kiom al mi mankis tiu lingvo. Jam pasis pli ol dek jaroj ekde mi lastatempe legis aŭ parolis ĝin. Komence legis mi malrapide, sed post nelonge sukcesis retrovi pli rapidan legoritmon.

Ankaŭ la rakonto estas bona (sed eble iom simpla, kiel taŭgas por infanlibro). Mi kredas ke mia sepjaraĝa filino ŝatus ĝin se ŝi akceptus ke mi laŭtlegus por ŝi!

Review of "The Hobbit"

It was fun to read this in a language I can just so read. It gives the prose a more archaic feel. And maybe the nordic sound of Danish is a good fit. The book itself is enjoyable even for a non-Tolkien fan and only occasional fantasy reader like myself.

Epub batean irakurri dut, eta ziur nago paperezko edizioan gehiago disfrutatuko nuela, oharrak, mapak eta marrazkiak hobeto ikusten baitira! Hobbita eta Tolkienen mundua gustuko duenarentzat oso gomendagarria da argitalpen hau, eta noski Hobbita bera ipuin zoragarria dela esan behar! Merezi du!

Dois-je vraiment présenter le Hobbit ? Grand classique qui se lit très facilement, aux allures de conte pour enfant. Un prérequis avant d'attaquer le Seigneur des Anneaux.

The timeless classic of the fantasy genre

The Hobbit is the first of Tolkien's stories set in the Middle Earth... Actually this book needs no introduction as majority of people are probably aware of its existance and know how Tolkien pioneered the modern fantasy genre. However, it still holds strongly to this day. This epic story of a hobbit embarking on an unexpected journey with a team of dwarves and a wizard just really hooks you in and the world around is built with passion and full of surprises. I love it and now I understand why it's so praised by many.

Fantastic new audiobook edition

It's been a couple of decades since I last read The Hobbit, but the story still holds up. This new audiobook edition is read by Andy Serkis (the actor who voiced and played Gollum, among many others). His voice acting is spectacular and really adds to the book. Highly recommended!

Es bonito volver a la Tierra Media

No sé si es justo comparar este libro con «El Señor de los Anillos», pero me resulta difícil no hacerlo. Pese a lo interesante de la historia y lo emocionante de cualquier viaje y aventura por la Tierra Media, no siento que haya llegado a conocer a los personajes y encariñarme de ellos como en la trilogía.
