I often to go places where people live alone. They never say 'I want to clean the house' in their requests, but asking me to their homes certainly seems to prompt a desire to clear up. So, although I just go to 'be' there, I have an automatic side effect of getting the house tidy. People seem to be embarrassed at even a complete stranger seeing their rooms in a mess.
