When the wolf goddess Holo and her merchant traveling companion Lawrence arrive at the church in the village of Tereo to glean information about Holo's homeland, a suspicious deaconess turns them away.
This was another enjoyable collection of side stories. The standout is told from the perspective of a dog, but they're all breezy reads.
This second volume of Town of Strife was tenser and delivered in the intrigue and drama the first lacked. The ending now has me excited for the next installment after having cooled a bit on the series.
