когда я читала эту книгу лет 15 назад на русском, не задумывалась о названии ивента, на котором выбирают трибутов. ну жатва и жатва
а сейчас читаю на английском, и там это называется reaping. как Grim Reaper (Мрачный жнец, который у нас не очень-то и распространён). слово reaping напоминает, что 23 из 24 посланы на смерть
