A little too much woo

I got the sense that everyone quoted in the book, from the foreword to the closing, including the author, was patting themselves on the back for how good they are for not going to the mall every weekend.

The projects were interesting, good jumping-off points. The last chapter has upcycling projects that I found didn't have anywhere near enough detail or photos to be usable for people trying to replicate the looks.

I bought this book to give me advice for fixing the worn chub rub in the crotch of a pair of jeans, and it was very helpful for that. The other types of repairs are an interesting idea and I'm glad to have the inspiration.
